The Translational Symposium on Personalized Oncology (STOP Cancer-Romania) is held under the aegis of the “Transdisciplinary Society of Personalized Oncology for the Fight against Cancer” with the collaboration of the “National Society of Medical Oncology of Romania (SNOMR)” and the “Romanian Society of Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology (SRROM)”.
Also, a new series of STOP Cancer Courses will take place in 2026, the subject of this year’s courses being Research and Clinical Trials in Oncology. The courses will be held online, once a week, every Thursday, and will cover the entire topic of fundamental and translational research in oncology, including the design and implementation of clinical trials. The courses will have a very practical dimension, so that both younger oncologists and those who already have years of experience behind them, by participating in these courses, can acquire all the necessary information to be able to go all the way from a therapeutic idea to its application in clinical practice. The courses will be credited with EMC. Registration is done on the same platform as the registration for the STOP Cancer Symposium: https://www.stop-cancer.ro/.
Through these collaboration and information platforms, we want to contribute both to improving cancer diagnostic methods and to improving the prognosis and quality of life for cancer patients in Romania.
The symposium program will be published in the coming period.
Welcome!
Organizing Committee
